About us

The Association will be focused towards achieving the following objectives:

To foster academic and social interests of its members.

To market our department, the travel and tours operations management to high school students and other institutions through our outreach programs

To enable the students, have a full understanding of the Travel, tourism and hospitality industry.

To provide a link between individuals and institutions within the tourism industry.

To make students aware of the tourist destinations in Kenya as well as learning how they can be improved for the benefit of the whole nation at large.

To exchange relevant ideas with likeminded associations locally and abroad whenever desirable.

To work in close solidarity with other students' organizations within the University and to establish friendly relations and understanding with other relevant organizations whose objectives are similar to the Organization’s.

To raise funds through lawful means for the purposes of achieving the aims and objectives of MUTTA.

To participate in community service in compliance with the University’s objects; and

To carry out such other activities as may be incidental to the achievement of the above objectives.
